Just grabbed myself a Novation Launchpad, and I have to say I am impressed! I've had my eye on grid based sequencing/composing for a little while now, but have never been able to afford a monome (soon, very soon :) After some headaches getting it to run on my Win7 x64 rig, now solved, I've been fooling around with some of my old projects.
I've found it can really breathe new life into some of my older ideas. As somewhat of a one man band at the moment, this little device makes it more likely that a live performance will happen soon... very exciting :)
There are also a lot of custom MAX/Msp patches floating around that add some really interesting features. little-scale has some amazing sequencer concepts which I hope to get more of a look at soon enough.
